9 to 5 was a big, fun show. I wanted the world to feel more alive and less restrictive as the women created a better environment and took control of their lives. In the beginning, the lighting was very bland and cold, especially in the office scenes. By the end, the office was warm and more dynamic. Each song had its own needs--typically pretty colorful, especially in the fantasy sequences.
