Our production of Eurydice focused on how hell was not a terrible place engulfed in hellfire, but rather a place void of connection and what makes us human. The motif of water in the script led me to a visual of someone floating alone in the deep ocean (which I'd imagine tends to also be void of human connection), which I then connected to our version of hell. Hell was a cool-toned void with moving water texture throughout, in contrast to the warm glow of the land of the living.
